Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Antar mobile applications and website (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
2. Your Content
Your entries and conversations are your content and remain on your device by default. Antar does not collect or store your journal content on our servers.
3. Analytics
We collect anonymized interaction analytics (such as screen views and actions) to improve the app. We do not collect your journal content or personally identifiable information. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
4. Purchases and Subscriptions
There are currently no in-app purchases or subscriptions. If we introduce paid features in the future, purchases will be processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and their billing, renewal, and refund policies will apply. Prices and features may change.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. For example, you will not:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to infringe any rights.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access source code.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or associated networks.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Antar or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for your content, you may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.
7. No Medical or Professional Advice
Antar is a self-reflection tool and does not provide medical, psychological, or professional advice. If you need help, seek guidance from qualified professionals.
8. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Antar and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of use, data, or profits, arising from or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event will our total liability for all claims relating to the Service exceed the greater of fifty U.S. dollars (US $50) or the amounts you paid to Antar for the Service in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Antar from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or if required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time.
12. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree that the state and federal courts located in San Francisco County, California will have exclusive jurisdiction and venue over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, and you consent to such jurisdiction and venue.
14. Dispute Resolution; No Class Actions
You agree to resolve disputes with Antar on an individual basis. You may not bring a claim as a plaintiff or class member in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
